Thank you, thank you, thank you! I feel so good about Cleo's stay w/you, on so many levels...
Izzi & I both felt like we were giving her a Very Special gift. I am still excited about all the Exercise and doggie company she got to enjoy. I so appreciate all the experienced care you took of her. And we all learned so much! Cleo came home a better behaved dog, and so happy. And I feel like I have new and valuable tools to work with her. Literally started whispering commands to her, and she listens far better. Funny, like kids! I know this is work that you do...but also felt very much like it was a GIFT! Thanks to you and your family for everything!

Gemmi is so much happier. She has lost weight and is playing and learning to socialize. You are SUCH a blessing. Lee Ann Warner was the only person we felt comfortable leaving our new puppy, Rosie, with when we had to go out-of-town. We knew Rosie would be loved and well-cared for. Now, 11 years later, Lee Ann is still our Rosie's favorite friend. I've seen Lee Ann interact with a number of dogs and have been impressed by her gentle spirit, her responsible nature, and her ability to assess what different dogs need. There is NO ONE whom I would recommend more highly than Lee Ann to watch ANY animal of mine. Cat, chicken, turkey or DOG! Lee Ann is meticulous regarding feeding/diet/meds, dedicated to the max on exercise, consistent with behavioral boundaries, and 100% responsible with the safety of all animals. Lee Ann is the kindest, gentlest and most responsible animal lover I have ever met. Not only that, she is also the most fun, and dogs immediately pick up on her enjoyment of their company. Although my chocolate lab Sasha likes everyone, she achieves her highest state of joy whenever she is lucky enough to be around Lee Ann. From their very first meeting, Lee Ann knew intuitively just what Sasha liked best; she manages to give Sasha the affection she craves while at the same time gently restraining Sasha’s at times overly rambunctious behavior. My family feels very fortunate to have discovered Barking Birch Farm! Dropping my puppy off for the first time reminded me how it felt when I took my babies to day-care 20 years ago and how important it is to find someone you trust with your family members. Lee Ann welcomed us into her home, as though she were getting a gift of playing with dogs all day as opposed to the other way around! At the end of the visit when I picked up my dog, Lee Ann gave me a summary of his activities -- walks in the woods, romps with Kaya (her dog), sleeping by Lee Ann’s feet during rest time, and running through streams. No wonder he looked so happy and tired! I was grateful for Lee Ann’s thoughtful care and felt as though I had just given my dog a day at the spa… it made me wonder whether next time I could stay too! -Polly Wagner, Shutesbury, MA |

I am so pleased that Lee Ann Warner has started Barking Birch because I know that my precious Sweet Annie will have a safe, clean, and happy place to stay while we are separated. Lee Ann radiates warmth and love, but she is also a good disciplinarian. Along with long walks, hugs, attention to their health and emotional needs, dogs in her care absolutely know where the boundaries are.
